Other duties may be assigned as company business needs dictate.</span></p><div style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 12.5px;\"><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;font-size:16px;\">Receives, collects and tests samples of herbal and food raw materials used in production and/or new product development projects.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;font-size:16px;\">Utilizes standard analytical and microbiological methods to assess tested materials quality. Submits samples for testing to third party laboratories if and when necessary.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;font-size:16px;\">Performs occasional testing on finished food and dietary supplement products.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;font-size:16px;\">Assists with maintaining laboratory documentation and archiving, managing reference materials and retained samples.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;font-size:16px;\">Process vendor qualification documentation and submits the qualification packages to R&amp;D Manager for approval.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;font-size:16px;\">Follows Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Prepare food&nbsp;samples.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;font-size:16px;\">Maintains equipment logs, cleans and manages glassware, and assists in keeping the lab clean and organized.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">Assists in other areas in the department as needed.</span></li></ul></div><p style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><br></p><p style='margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;margin:0in;text-align:justify;vertical-align:baseline;'><strong>QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</strong></p><p style='margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;margin:0in;text-align:justify;vertical-align:baseline;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
