    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Summary</u></strong></p><p>Set up, operate and troubleshoot machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and CNC machines to create parts from metal and plastic. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure that parts meet specifications. Maintain and troubleshoot machines to ensure they are operating at optimum efficiency.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong></p><ul><li>Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Machines to achieve first article.</li><li>Considered to be process expert and trainer.</li><li>Work directly with programmer and engineers in planning and execution of insourcing projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions or MIPs proficiently.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain tooling while operating machines.</li><li>Determine specifications for inspection of work using precision measuring and gaging tools, performing required inspection before, during, and after machining.</li><li>Change tooling and/or tooling holders to maintain machine settings to produce a quality product throughout production.</li><li>Operate other equipment as required, both NC controlled and manual (if applicable).</li><li>Properly and safely load and unload parts and raw material in CNC Machinery.</li><li>Perform necessary side operations during machine cycle time as required (i.e., deburring, etc.)</li><li>Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance task on CNC Machinery.</li><li>Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality.</li><li>Palletize material coming to machine from preceding operation, as required.</li><li>Maintain appropriate Kanban records, levels, etc.</li><li>Remove chips and shavings as needed.</li><li>Solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor/manager assistance.</li><li>Verify and record quality assurance measurements and document defects.</li><li>Maintain and improve 5S standards in the cell.</li><li>Comply with company policies, ISO standards, and applicable laws and legislation.</li><li>Work towards SQDC target metrics.</li><li>Support manufacturing engineers as directed in daily production, projects, and special assignments.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma, GED, Technical School certificate, or related work experience required.</li><li>Three (3) to five (5) years prior successful experience operating, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC Machines.</li><li>Must have extensive experience with one or more of the following CNC machines: Mazak, Haas, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, and/or Okuma.</li><li>Must be able to read and utilize the following measuring instruments: 6 to 12&rdquo; scale, vernier calipers, comparator, pin gauge, thread gauges, and micrometer.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to read blueprints, bills of materials, and part specifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Must understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets.</li><li>Must have experience machining one or more of the following materials: nickel-based stainless-steel alloys (Inconel, Monel, etc.), Cooper, Aluminum, and/or Titanium.</li><li>Ability to prioritize work and work with minimal supervision.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to read, write, and perform simple to moderate mathematical calculations.&nbsp;</li><li>Skill and ability to operate machines precisely with high degree of attention to make quality products.</li><li>Ability to perform job in safe manner. &nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and use these skills to solve problems.</li><li>Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, complete forms with accurate information.</li><li>Must be able to properly identify, count, and maintain required inventory.</li><li>Must be able to work as a cooperative and contributing member of the Team. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. &nbsp;Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
