As such, we are searching for a mission critical Hardware Engineer to apply a Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) and applicable patches to desktops and laptops on the NIPR and SIPR domains.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Active Secret security clearance</li><li>Candidate must possess the ability and eligibility to gain access to a secured USG facility</li><li>Current Security+ certification</li><li>Minimum of 2 &ndash; 4 years applying SDC configurations to desktops and laptops</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Ability to work onsite 100% of the time.&nbsp;</li><li>This is a mission critical position. The selected individual must be able to work during local and national unplanned events.&nbsp;</li><li>Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualified exemption. &nbsp;In the event the candidate is selected and exempted from the vaccine requirement, the individual must continually produce negative COVID-19 test results from a qualified medical facility in accordance with applicable federal, Department of Defense, Air Force, contract, and base requirements.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p><ul><li>2 &ndash; 4 years&rsquo; experience utilizing BMC Remedy ITSM modules</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions</p><ul><li>Receive imaging requests via Remedy service request module.</li><li>Receive, inventory, verify, and sign for delivery of laptops and desktops against work order.&nbsp;</li><li>Download assets from pallet or container.</li><li>Place assets on imaging racks and connect to network interface (NIPR and SIPR).</li><li>Image 80+ assets daily and apply software patches.</li><li>Perform troubleshooting as required.</li><li>Update assets status, as required, in the Remedy imaging work order.
