          "text": "<p>The <strong>Assistant Plant Manager</strong> is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing operations within a continuous glass manufacturing environment. This role provides direct leadership across plant operations with a strong focus on <strong>safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and cost control</strong>, while driving continuous improvement and developing high‑performing teams.</p><p>Serving as a technical leader and glass manufacturing expert, the Assistant Plant Manager supports furnace operations and ensures performance against key plant objectives</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, including batch &amp; furnace, forming, process, selecting, carton assembly, materials management, quality, service, and plant engineering</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, production efficiency, and cost</li><li>Lead furnace operations to achieve KPIs for Safety, Quality, Productivity, Flexibility, and Cost</li><li>Provide technical leadership in glass manufacturing processes, including high‑temperature continuous operations</li><li>Ensure compliance with AOQ/ISO quality systems, OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and company policies</li><li>Analyze operating data and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities</li><li>Develop and support production planning, forecasting, and cost management</li><li>Lead, coach, and hold teams accountable to performance goals; promote strong employee relations and engagement</li><li>Support customer quality and service requirements through coordination with sales and customer visits as needed</li><li>Manage labor relations responsibilities and ensure adherence to labor agreements</li></ul>",
