TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The Chaplain Pro Re Nata (PRN) provides “as needed” person-centered spiritual care to patients, families, and colleagues. </li>\n <li>Provides “as needed” objective, patient/family/colleague-centered crisis intervention and spiritual support throughout the institution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Director/Pastoral Care/CPE [Clinical Pastoral Education] (job code 018801)</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Supervises: </strong>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One (1) completed CPE unit (minimum) from an Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) accredited program and a bachelor’s degree from a Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) accredited institution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Enrolled in (or completed) a 72-semester hours (minimum) master’s degree program in theology or divinity from a CHEA accredited educational institution. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Two (2) or more years of ministry experience in a faith community or other institutional ministry setting. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Certification/License/Registry:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ordained minister (or ordained deacon, provided the faith group considers individual to function as a fully ordained minister) in good standing with a faith group.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
