    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.18.17/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.18.17/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>JOB DESCRIPTION</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Job Title</strong>: Aircraft Maintenance Technician</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Department:</strong> Maintenance</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Reports To</strong>: Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>POSITION PURPOSE:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions on company aircraft in accordance with all company policies and procedures as well as all federal aviation regulations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform and assist approved work by their leads within the scheduled shift</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure completeness of all assigned work documents and records</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Seek on-the-job training during work shift to ensure proper qualification standards are met and maintained</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate all activities with lead mechanic in charge or station supervisor</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Research all pertinent information and material for work scheduled on aircraft</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in the clean up of the maintenance work area</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure that all maintenance areas meet good &ldquo;housekeeping&rdquo; standards</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Always maintain positive tool control accountability &amp; immediately report lost and/or found tools to management</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform data entries as required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties as assigned</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comply with and implement the necessary procedures in the MEL/CDL/NEF Program</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor the proper completion of aircraft records (e.g., logbook pages, work cards, non-routines, Engineering documents [EOs, EAs, etc.], and other related documents)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure accuracy and completeness of all assigned work documents and records</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain familiarization with the training requirements necessary as defined in the&nbsp;AMTM&nbsp;and ensure training is current prior to performing the functions and tasks of this position</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Always follow (never deviate from) approved published procedures unless proper deviation is Authorized</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to pass a 10 Year Background check, and any location specific requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to obtain an Airport SIDA Badge <strong><u>and</u></strong> United States Custom Seal if required.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 29px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">FAA-certificated mechanic with Airframe, Powerplant or both ratings (must be provided upon hire and or request)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommended, two (2) years of experience performing maintenance in the following areas on Boeing 747-400 or 777F / 777-300 or similar type aircraft</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">Must have the ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give and receive verbal and written direction to team members.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">FAA-certificated mechanic with Airframe, Powerplant or both ratings ( may be reviewed based on Location and position )</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommended but not required, two (2) years of experience performing maintenance in the following areas on Boeing 747-400 or 777F / 777-300 or similar type aircraft:</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">maintenance checks</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">engine changes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">gear changes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">structural repairs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">flight control rigging</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">component maintenance on Boeing 747-400 or 777F / 777-300 or similar type aircraft or successful Completion of accredited A&amp;P mechanic training course</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">When requested by management if applicable to your location, must obtain Engine Run / Taxi&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must demonstrate behavior that portrays the company core values of Safety, Respect, Trust, Collaboration, Value, and Passion while communicating with personnel and acting on behalf of the company</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Position requires extremely strenuous physical work involving objects in excess of 100 lbs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">occasionally and in excess of 50 lbs. frequently.
