Job Summary: Million Air Lubbock is seeking a skilled and motivated Avionics Technician to join our dedicated avionics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, repairs, installations and alterations on a variety of general aviation aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of aircraft electronics and electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, can read and follow wiring digrams and a commitment to safety Requirements Responsibilities: Perform ICA inspections, avionics installations, IFR & RVSM certifications. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system malfunctions. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), manufacturer's manuals, service bulletins, and company policies and procedures. Accurately document all work performed, including parts used, discrepancies found, and corrective actions taken, in aircraft logbooks and maintenance records. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for. Communicate effectively with pilots, customers, and other avionics personnel regarding aircraft status and avionics findings. Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes. Adhere to all safety procedures and practices. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Background check Pre-employment drug screen Qualifications: Has held a repairman's certificate or equivalent for avionics. Minimum of 3+ years experience with electronics or avionics installation, in general aviation is strongly desired. Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including airframe structures, engines, propellers, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, landing gear, and environmental control systems. Proven ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Valid driver's license. Ability to get a repairman's certificate.
