The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, repairs, installations and alterations on a variety of general aviation aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of aircraft electronics and electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, can read and follow wiring digrams and a commitment to safety</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform ICA inspections, avionics installations, IFR &amp; RVSM certifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system malfunctions.</li><li>Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), manufacturer's manuals, service bulletins, and company policies and procedures.</li><li>Accurately document all work performed, including parts used, discrepancies found, and corrective actions taken, in aircraft logbooks and maintenance records.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for.</li><li>Communicate effectively with pilots, customers, and other avionics personnel regarding aircraft status and avionics findings.</li><li>Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes.</li><li>Adhere to all safety procedures and practices.</li><li>May be required to perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Background check</li><li>Pre-employment drug screen</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Has held a repairman's certificate or equivalent for avionics.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of 3+ years experience with electronics or avionics installation, in general aviation is strongly desired.</li><li>Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including airframe structures, engines, propellers, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, landing gear, and environmental control systems.</li><li>Proven ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects.</li><li>Valid driver's license.</li><li>Ability to get a repairman's certificate.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>Our comprehensive package includes a matching 401k program, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
