With a focus on quality, precision, and customer satisfaction, we support a wide range of industries from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></p>\n<p>We currently have an opening for an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Production Technician</span>.  In this role, you will troubleshoot, analyze, repair, and co-develop manufacturing test and automation systems. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, test and automation engineering teams to support the tools, equipment and processes needed to sustain production of electro-mechanical assemblies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Primary Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides technical assistance to Production Assembly Leads and Associates related to all production cell equipment, fixtures, and test systems.</li>\n<li>Acts as a real-time support function to triage, troubleshoot, and repair of production test systems</li>\n<li>Build, deploy, and validate production test systems from various documentation, instructions, schematics, drawings, diagrams, layouts and plans.</li>\n<li>Provides technical assistance to Product Development Engineering team for all related prototyping and testing</li>\n<li>Provide process improvement contributions related to test development, deployment, and management.</li>\n<li>Provides design detail where lacking and recommends modifications where appropriate.</li>\n<li>Performs routine calibration and maintenance on instruments, systems and electronic circuits</li>\n<li>Provide production operations fixture and tooling design support for both NPI and sustaining product applications</li>\n<li>Provide design verification test (DVT) and related product performance test support (to include environmental exposure)</li>\n<li>Support production operations equipment preventative maintenance, upgrade, repair and troubleshooting as necessary</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualification Essential:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competency for analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electronic systems.</li>\n<li>Knowledgeable of computer hardware and Windows applications, and ability to support application installations and device drivers to ensure function of hardware peripherals.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with analog and digital electronics and associated low voltage systems and communication protocols.</li>\n<li>Adept at using electronic instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, power supplies, audio analyzers, and vision systems.</li>\n<li>Understands electrical schematics and correlates how to troubleshoot and repair circuit boards.</li>\n<li>Ability to build and repair low voltage cable and connector assemblies, including associated soldering and crimping activities.</li>\n<li>Ability to design, build/fabricate, and validate production fixtures, tooling, and related support equipment.</li>\n<li>Ability to support and execute product performance testing to include test planning, procedure development, test conduct, report development; data analyses support as required.</li>\n<li>Ability to define and execute preventative maintenance requirements in support of production operations equipment.</li>\n<li>Capable of communicating on a technical level with engineers when issues need to be escalated for additional support.</li>\n<li>Able to conceive, evaluate and implement design changes to instruments, circuits or processes.</li>\n<li>Capacity to multitask and support various projects differing in scope and complexity.</li>\n<li>Proficient with MS Office programs such as Excel and Word.</li>\n<li>Ability to develop and troubleshoot test software such as LabVIEW, Visual Basic, or related.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualification Desired:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Industrial Automation Equipment (motion control, vision systems, robotics)</li>\n<li>Schematic Capture / Circuit Design</li>\n<li>PCB Layout</li>\n<li>SolidWorks CAD</li>\n<li>IPC Certified</li>\n<li>Product test experience (e.g. acceptance testing, qualification/DVT, HALT/HASS/ESS, environmental, reliability demonstration/growth, life/aging)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education/Previous Experience Requirements</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>AA degree in electronics or equivalent work experience, minimum 6 years.</li>\n<li>Previous manufacturing experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>",
