Reporting into the Vice President of Financial Aid, the Regional Director is responsible for overseeing policy interpretation, procedures, and regulatory guidance while managing a team of Financial Aid Officers and support staff. The Regional Director is a subject matter expert in FA and accountable for key metrics and service level expectations related to student success and the financial health of student accounts. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Leadership & Strategy</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies and goals focused on student retention and experience.</li>\n <li>Lead impactful projects and identify opportunities for organizational improvement.</li>\n <li>Ensure transparency and partnership across departments in all initiatives, particularly with quality assurance.</li>\n <li>Partner with campus leadership and staff to ensure alignment on financial aid strategies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team Management & Development</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Identify, hire, and retain top talent.</li>\n <li>Ensure operational efficiency while providing mentorship, professional development, and coaching.</li>\n <li>Identify training needs and create training programs to improve team members’ knowledge and efficiency within Financial Aid. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Student Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee initial approval for VA benefits for all assigned campus locations, timely certification of all VA benefits, and School Certifying Official (SCO) annual training.</li>\n <li>Train team on expected service-level agreements to ensure consistently high student satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Handle escalated or high-need student cases, ensuring all interactions are documented properly.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Data Analysis & Communication</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze team data and metrics to facilitate changes that meet organizational goals.</li>\n <li>Utilize business intelligence analytics to maintain expected service-level agreements.</li>\n <li>Create and maintain a culture of excellence and inclusivity through team activities, initiatives, and open communication.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Arizona College of Nursing, we believe in a collaborative approach where all colleagues work together towards our shared goals.
