    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span><br>Total Rehab Kids is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing outpatient pediatric therapy team. Unlike many SLP jobs, we prioritize your well-being and success by providing a minimum of 2 hours of protected documentation and supervision time daily, helping you stay organized and avoid burnout. In this position, you will make a meaningful impact on children and families by:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducting accurate evaluations and re-evaluations.</li>\n<li>Supervising and mentoring SLP Assistants to ensure high-quality care.</li>\n<li>Creating and overseeing individualized treatment plans.</li>\n<li>Collaborating with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and families to support holistic care.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.</li>\n<li>Current Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.</li>\n<li>Experience evaluating and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.</li>\n<li>Pediatric experience, including feeding and swallowing.</li>\n<li>Experience supervising SLP Assistants.</li>\n<li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities are a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations.</li>\n<li>Provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and oversight for SLP Assistants.</li>\n<li>Deliver limited treatment sessions for specialized cases, including pediatric feeding disorders.</li>\n<li>Develop, adjust, and oversee individualized treatment plans.</li>\n<li>Document all patient care and progress thoroughly, supported by daily protected documentation time.</li>\n<li>Educate families and caregivers to reinforce therapy strategies at home.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (OT, PT, SLP) to deliver coordinated care.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Qualities We Value</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong clinical reasoning and analytical skills.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li>\n<li>Leadership qualities to supervise and guide SLP Assistants.</li>\n<li>Compassion, patience, and empathy when working with children and families.</li>\n<li>Experience with teletherapy is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Join Total Rehab Kids?</span><br>At Total Rehab Kids, you’ll be part of a supportive, family-oriented team that values collaboration and professional growth.
