          "text": "<p>The Mission Critical Group team in Brookston, Indiana specializes in designing and building custom electrical switchgear and controls for a variety of applications. We engineer, build, and deploy specialized switchgear and control systems for the power generation industry. We are agile, fast-paced, and our goal is to provide our customers with clever, cost-effective products and solutions. Under the direct supervision of our shop manager, the Wiring Technician Lead performs electrical wiring and installation work on assigned switchgear. The overall&#xa0;objective&#xa0;of this position is to lead a team of&#xa0;craftsman&#xa0;to&#xa0;accomplish&#xa0;assembly and wiring tasks necessary to build electrical control and distribution equipment and ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards. Consistent and&#xa0;accurate&#xa0;representation of the&#xa0;Mission&#xa0;Critical Group&#xa0;brand, mission, vision, values, and organizational strategy are essential to achieving the goals of the organization.&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Accountabilities</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise and schedule assembly and wiring&#xa0;team&#xa0;on projects to meet quality standards and on‐time shipment requirements.&#xa0;</li><li>Provide&#xa0;technical guidance and&#xa0;direct corrective&#xa0;action of&#xa0;assembly&#xa0;and wiring&#xa0;teams&#xa0;by ensuring&#xa0;efficient installation and wiring of switchgear and power control system components.&#xa0;</li><li>Train personnel in all areas of assembly and wiring, while providing&#xa0;expertise&#xa0;to Field Service Technicians on the floor or on‐site for&#xa0;optimal&#xa0;client responsiveness and feedback capabilities.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Provide positive reinforcement, constructive feedback,&#xa0;coaching,&#xa0;and mentorship to team members and provide recommendations for promotions and terminations to the Shop Manager.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Wiring of control panels and switchboards, by following wiring diagram instructions.</li><li>Point to point wiring, crimping/cutting wire, and wire labeling</li><li>Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary or other assigned duties.</li><li>Responsible for personal and area safety</li></ul>",
