          "text": "<p><strong>Build your future with an industry leader</strong></p><p>Canam Group is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for Hambro projects to join our Western Canada team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a construction professional who understands the importance of planning, coordination, financial control, and site execution in delivering successful Hambro projects.</p><p><strong>The role</strong><br>\nAs a Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of Hambro projects from handoff to closeout. You will act as the link between sales, estimating, engineering, detailing, fabrication, logistics, installation, concrete coordination, and the general contractor.</p><p>You will be responsible not only for schedule and execution, but also for protecting the financial health of the project through forecasting, cost control, change management, invoicing, and proactive risk identification.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Project planning and&#xa0;execution</strong><br>\nLead the project from kickoff through completion, including proposal review, scope clarification, schedule development, procurement planning, logistics coordination, and site execution.<br>\n&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Hambro technical coordination</strong><br>\nCoordinate Hambro-specific requirements including erection drawings, joist and deck installation, pre-pour audits, concrete coordination, and interface with other trades.<br>\n&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Schedule management</strong><br>\nDevelop and maintain project schedules using MS Project or similar tools. Prepare look-ahead schedules, track progress against baseline, identify delays, and coordinate recovery plans when required. Application of LPS.<br>\n&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Financial forecasting and cost control</strong><br>\nPrepare and maintain project forecasts, including budgeted cost, actual cost, committed cost, remaining cost, and estimated cost at completion. Monitor labour, equipment, consumables, rentals, subcontractors, and change impacts to protect project margin.<br>\n&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Progress billing and schedule of values</strong><br>\nPrepare, update, and manage the schedule of values. Support timely invoicing, progress claims, extras, back charges, and collection of required backup documentation.<br>\n&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Change management</strong><br>\nIdentify scope changes early, prepare pricing support, negotiate extras, track pending changes, and ensure no additional work proceeds without proper authorization when possible.<br>\n&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Site and quality control</strong><br>\nAttend site meetings, conduct site visits, support pre-pour reviews, verify installation readiness, monitor deficiencies, and ensure Canam’s quality and safety expectations are maintained.<br>\n&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Stakeholder communication</strong><br>\nAct as the primary point of contact with general contractors, consultants, internal teams, subcontractors, and site crews. Communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Your professional profile</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education and experience</strong><br>\nCivil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent construction experience. Hambro, structural steel, concrete, or multi-trade coordination experience is an asset.<br>\n&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Technical skills</strong><br>\nAbility to read structural drawings, erection drawings, shop drawings, architectural drawings, and project specifications. Understanding of <em>Hambro by Canam</em> systems, construction sequencing, and site coordination is strongly preferred.<br>\n&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Financial acumen</strong><br>\nComfortable managing budgets, forecasts, cost reports, invoicing, extras, back charges, and margin protection.
