You matter, and so does the impact you can make with us.The American Heart Association’s Internship Program provides college students an opportunity for hands-on experience in various facets for individuals interested in gaining work experience with a non-profit, voluntary health organization. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Exhibit and Sponsorship Team is seeking a part‑time Exhibit & Sponsorship Intern interested in gaining event operation experience and exposure to sponsorship and exhibitor management. The selected candidate will support day‑to‑day coordination of exhibitor and sponsor deliverables, assist with logistics planning, and help ensure successful on‑site execution at events.</p>\n<p>The Association offers many resources to help you maintain work-life harmonization through your changing needs and life situations. Be Valued at the American Heart Association by following us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and at heart.jobs.</p>\n<p><strong>Internship Overview:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Time Commitment: 25 hours per week</li>\n <li>Internship Duration:  9/8/26-12/11/2626<strong>​</strong></li>\n <li>Location: <strong>Remote</strong></li>\n <li>Salary: $23.00 per hour</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Internship Outcomes:</strong></p>\n<p>Individuals participating in the internship program are provided with an opportunity to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Gain important and practical job skills to be successful in a non-profit environment.</li>\n <li>Opportunity to explore a career-path with a reputable voluntary health/service organization.</li>\n <li>Complete an internship that enriches your academic and professional resume as well as enriching your personal life by making a difference in the lives of others.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Exhibits & Sponsorship Management:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides general support for sponsorship/advertising/exhibit related questions.</li>\n <li>Manages operational tasks for the team including distribution of specifications to industry supporters for sponsorship/advertising activations for Scientific Sessions.</li>\n <li>Review and maintain external industry facing websites.</li>\n <li>Support management of sponsorship/advertising activations at Scientific Sessions. </li>\n <li>Supports managing meeting event logistics. </li>\n <li>Assists management with special projects as needed/assigned. </li>\n <li>Provide onsite support at Scientific Sessions 2026 from November 3-10 in Chicago, IL. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>College seniors or graduate students majoring in event and hospitality management, or related field of study.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience managing projects preferred.</strong></li>\n <li>Strong customer service and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate information accurately and effectively to diverse audiences.  </li>\n <li>Experience working with databases and electronic reporting tools.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.</li>\n <li><strong>Required Equipment: Reliable WiFi Connection.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 9am-5pm Central Time.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
