16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Job Summary</span><span>:</span></span></span> <span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>The </span><span>Clinical Associate</span><span> reports to the Clinical Supervisor II, </span><span>providing</span><span> in-office and school-based specialty Mental Health Services throughout Service Area 2</span><span>, 8, and/or Santa Clarita area</span><span>.</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>The </span><span>Clinical Associate</span><span> will</span> <span>provide</span><span> comprehensive </span><span>community-based </span><span>therapy </span><span>services to</span><span> children and their families using </span><span>standard therapy practices and documentation protocols according to the Department of Mental Health (</span><span>DMH</span><span>).</span> <span>The </span><span>Clinical Associate</span> <span>is responsible for</span><span> meeting weekly </span><span>service deliver</span><span>y expectations (</span><span>24</span><span> billable hours of care), carrying a caseload of</span> <span>clients, dependent on </span><span>service deliver</span><span>y</span><span>, and </span><span>maintaining</span> <span>accurate</span><span> and up-to-date case records</span><span> using</span><span> the electronic health record</span><span> system</span><span>, EXYM,</span><span> for</span><span> all services </span><span>rendered</span><span>,</span> <span>in accordance with</span> <span>S</span><span>tate</span><span> of California</span><span> and the </span><span>Los Angeles County Department</span> <span>of Mental Health</span><span>. </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>The</span> <span>Clinical Associate</span><span> will</span><span> provide services in office and at client schools. </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Counseling4Kids emphasizes quality treatment and trauma-informed care. </span><span>Our S</span><span>ervices are primarily Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI), using the evidence-based treatment models of TF-CBT, MAP, CPP, PCIT, Triple P and Seeking Safety. </span><span>We also have a MAT program whose assessors perform thorough assessments for children that have recently been removed from their home by DCFS. </span><span>Clinical Associate</span><span>s will</span><span> receive training in one of more of these models</span><span>/programs</span><span> to meet the</span><span> treatment needs of our clients. </span><span>Our clients have high rates of trauma exposure and the majority </span><span>have parents or caregivers who are involved with the Department of </span><span>Children and Family Services</span><span>.</span><span> </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Uphold the mission and core values of Counseling4Kids.</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span>Clinicians are expected to </span><span>maintain</span><span> service delivery requirements that enable them to </span><span>provide</span> <span>1172 hours</span><span> of annual billable services, throughout the duration of employment.</span><span> </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span>Maintains knowledge and </span><span>demonstrates</span><span> understanding of how to calculate billable services</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span>Is responsible for</span> <span>maintaining</span><span> caseload to ensure 24 hours of billable services of care per week.</span><span> </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span>Clinicians are expected to</span> <span>conduct</span> <span>outreach </span><span>services</span><span> to </span><span>facilitate</span><span> the development of their</span> <span>caseload</span><span> w</span><span>hen</span><span> caseload does not </span><span>permit</span><span> them to meet</span><span> 24 hours of billable services of care per week</span><span>.</span></span><br></li>\n<li>Provides evidenced based interventions and/or MAT based on DMH and C4K guidelines<br></li>\n<li>Works collaboratively with clients and the clinical team to develop a comprehensive assessment, treatment plan and desired treatment outcomes.<br></li>\n<li>Engage in on-duty crisis management, including phone referral assessments. <span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></li>\n<li>Maintains clients’ records related to assessment, treatment, progress toward goals and objectives, discharge summary, and treatment outcomes that are accurate, concise, timely, and useful for coordinating treatment team planning, monitoring, and review.<br></li>\n<li>Participates in treatment team meetings and makes recommendations as appropriate.<br></li>\n<li>Attends in-person individual and group supervision at least once a week in the staff member’s home office.<br></li>\n<li>Ability to be in-office five (5) full eight (8) hour days<span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> per week during clinical hours and days (M-F) of operation. </span></li>\n<li>Seeks guidance and remains knowledgeable of, and complies with, all applicable federal and state laws, as well as company policies that apply to assigned duties.<br></li>\n<li>Complies with the company’s and Board of Behavioral Sciences’ (BBS) expectations regarding ethical behavior and standards of conduct.<span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span
