          "text": "<p>To pick up and deliver prepared meals to summer feeding and/or distribution sites throughout the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan’s service area, while complying with Feeding America &amp; AIB/ Safe food Handling requirements. The driver will ensure superior customer service to all internal team members and other stakeholders of the organization. All activities will support the organization’s mission, culture, and strategic plan objectives.<br>\n<strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong><br>\n• Create and maintain a positive work environment in alignment with the Company core values.<br>\n• Timely and professional execution of product pick-up and delivery to feeding and/or distribution sites.<br>\n• Maintain rapport with all stakeholders of the Food Bank to foster continued support and professional working relationships within community.<br>\n• Maintain accurate records of vehicle operations and maintenance daily, in compliance with department and DOT regulations.<br>\n• Load and off-load company vehicle as required while exercising safe lifting practices.<br>\n• Assist in maintaining an orderly and sanitary work environment that meets company policy &amp; outside regulatory standards.<br>\n• Perform routine general maintenance and repairs on assigned vehicles, reporting problems to the Transportation Manager<br>\n• Complete and perform accurate follow-through on documentation for shipping, receiving, unloading, and warehousing of product, as defined by FBEM policies and procedures.<br>\n• Assist other drivers/warehouse staff with their responsibilities, as directed by the management.<br>\n• Perform duties in accordance with FBEM safety policy.<br>\n• Maintain all current licenses, certifications in accordance/compliance with FBEM and State mandated requirements.<br>\n• Perform other duties as assigned.</p>",

Working in all summer weather conditions on truck lift gates, parking lots, docks, and in donor/supplier warehouses and store back-ends.</p><p><br>\nRequires a significant level of physical effort. Standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, and pushing, lifting weights up to 50 pounds.
