16px;font-family: Arial;\">Hill College Police Academy seeks qualified and experienced instructors to teach in their basic peace officer and in-service programs.</span> <span style=\"color: black;background-color: white;font-size: 16px;font-family: Arial;\">Those normally hired are TCOLE certified instructors with related training and experience.</span> <span style=\"color: black;background-color: white;font-size: 16px;font-family: Arial;\">Some other individuals who possess related subject matter expertise will be considered.</span> <span style=\"color: black;background-color: white;font-size: 16px;font-family: Arial;\">Interested persons who do not have a policing background are encouraged to review common TCOLE course titles prior to submitting black;background-color: white;font-size: 16px;font-family: Arial;\">This can eliminate time spent on an application where one does not meet the requisite training or experience to obtain employment.</span> &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color: black;background-color: white;font-size: 16px;font-family: Arial;\"><strong><ins>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</ins></strong>:&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color: black;background-color: white;font-size: 16px;font-family: Arial;\">Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) instructor certification, license, and/or subject matter expert (SME) coupled with classroom teaching experience.</span> <span style=\"color: black;background-color: white;font-size: 16px;font-family: Arial;\"><em>Subject matter expertise will be determined by the academy Training Coordinator in compliance with TCOLE rule (215.7).</em></span> <span style=\"color: black;background-color: white;font-size: 16px;font-family:
