The preferred schedule for this position is Monday, Wednesday - Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.</p><p><span style='font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;' data-pasted=\"true\">The listed wage reflects the entry-level rate for this position. Compensation may be adjusted based on experience, education, and qualifications.</span></p><p><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY:</u></strong></p><p>Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision and oversight of assigned nursing staff. They assist with resolution and/or follow-up of patient complaints, maintaining smooth clinic operations, and provides support to facilitate orientation of new nursing staff. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the nursing staff and leads by positive example, demonstrating a supportive culture to team members while working to support operational goals as set by the Organization and/or Director of Nursing.</p><p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p><ol><li id=\"isPasted\">Graduate of accredited school of Registered Nursing and possess current/valid, unrestricted RN license to practice in the state of California.</li><li>Previous leadership and supervisory experience is strongly preferred.</li><li>CPR certification.</li><li>Must pass pre-employment drug screening.</li><li>Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license and have reliable transportation to and from work sites.</li><li>Indian preference.</li><li>Must be fingerprinted and pass background check.</li></ol><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:</u></strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\">1. Understanding and ability to perform all duties of a clinic Nurse when requested or as needed.</p><p>2. Supervise clinic RN&rsquo;s, LVN&rsquo;s, Medical Assistants and other assigned staff as applicable.</p><p>3. Efficiently manage the nursing resources to maintain smooth operation of daily activities and quality of patient care rendered.</p><p>4. Coordinate day to day clinic nursing services, including reviewing appointment schedule and making nurse assignments for clinicians, overseeing exam and treatment rooms, and ensuring efficient patient flow.</p><p>5. Collaborate with RN Educator in the planning of clinical orientation and ongoing training for the assigned nursing staff.</p><p>6. Assure that the nursing staff is trained to perform procedures and nursing tasks as outlined in the Nursing Procedures Manual.</p><p>7. Works collaboratively with the Nursing leadership team (Director of Nursing, Nurse Educator) to determine and evaluate staff training needs and observational feedback for process improvements.</p><p>8. Conduct performance evaluations, provide clinical guidance, and initiate other personnel actions within established guidelines or as directed by the Director of Nursing.</p><p>9. Responsible for ensuring adequate patient care supplies and equipment are available for use and, supporting inventory management (including vaccine management).</p><p>10. Ability to perform nursing assessments, treatments, and patient education consistent with clinic policies and scope of practice.</p><p>11. Monitor and assess staff performance on a daily basis to maintain productivity, ensure accountability, and support team effectiveness.</p><p>13. Demonstrate knowledge base of infection control policies and universal precautions in addition to employee safety guidelines.</p><p>14. Responsible for participation and assurance of quality measures, including but not limited to, monthly medication reconciliation (med rooms), medication inventory, crash cart medication and supply counts, ensuring all required in-clinic assigned duties are complete. Participate in quarterly pharmaceutical inspections and other regulatory inspections.</p><p>15. Maintain open communication for patients, staff, and administration to be advised of problem solving and informational changes.</p><p>16. Acts as a liaison to the Director of Nursing, facilitating communication for situational awareness and support of clinic operations.</p><p>17. Ensures regulatory compliance measures are upheld, and is an active participant with site reviews at assigned clinic.</p><p>18. Administer immunizations, injections, oral medications, appropriate treatments, and perform venipuncture/capillary draws and IV therapy as needed.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>A completed Redding Rancheria job application must be submitted in order to be considered for employment.
