Many of our projects result in new techniques and new standards for everyone else to follow.</p>\n\n<hr />\n<h4><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>At minimum a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University</li>\n\t<li>A valid EI certification, or in the process of obtaining.</li>\n\t<li>Ability to learn and correctly apply relevant design guidelines and policies, including:\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>AASHTO:\n\t\t<ul>\n\t\t\t<li>A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets</li>\n\t\t\t<li>Roadside Design Guide</li>\n\t\t\t<li>Guide for Planning, Design and Operation of Pedestrian Facilities</li>\n\t\t\t<li>Guide for the Development of Bicycle Facilities</li>\n\t\t</ul>\n\t\t</li>\n\t\t<li>Federal Highway Administration&rsquo;s (FHWA) Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)</li>\n\t\t<li>State DOT specific Highway Design Policies and Guidelines</li>\n\t</ul>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h4><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Coordinate with technical staff in performing a variety of non-structural engineering tasks, including the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates, under direct guidance from Project Managers and senior-level engineers.</li>\n\t<li>Highway Design, including but not limited to roadway geometrics, drainage, permanent signage and striping, intersections, work zone traffic control, guardrail layouts, and Transportation Management Plans (TMPs).</li>\n\t<li>Develop conceptual plans for Feasibility Studies.</li>\n\t<li>Perform additional duties as assigned, including occasional field assignments and assistance with statements of interest and technical/price proposals</li>\n\t<li>Review and check standard highway design calculations and drawings.</li>\n\t<li>Develop contract plan details using CAD software.</li>\n\t<li>Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.</li>\n\t<li>Provide technical writing for design reports and feasibility studies.</li>\n\t<li>Perform and check quantity take-offs from contract plans.</li>\n\t<li>Coordinate with Teaming Subconsultants for topographic and property survey, geotechnical services, traffic analysis and environmental permitting.</li>\n\t<li>Use engineering CAD and analysis software such as Bentley MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads, AutoTurn, LADOTD&rsquo;s Hydrologic and Hydraulic Programs (HydroWIN), HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS.\n\t<ul>\n\t</ul>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h4><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h4>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Hybrid work schedule with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.</li>\n\t<li>Comprehensive benefits&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>401K,<strong> </strong>Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Hybrid working schedule</li>\n\t<li>Be part of a collaborative team committed to advancing infrastructure while developing your skills in a supportive environment.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h4><strong>Who We Are:&nbsp;</strong></h4>\n\n<p>M&amp;M is one of the world&rsquo;s leading bridge engineering firms, known for technical excellence and innovation that surpasses current standards.
