The ideal candidate will possess entry-level knowledge of restaurant operations, preferably with prior experience in a refined or upscale dining environment. This individual demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, the ability to multitask effectively, and professionalism under pressure.</p><p>Successful candidates are eager to learn, receptive to direction, and motivated to grow within the Food &amp; Beverage team, with aspirations to advance into Server or Bartender roles through skill development and consistent performance.</p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Food Running &amp; Service Support</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Run food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation, temperature, and seat positioning.</li><li>Communicate clearly with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any service needs.</li><li>Assist servers with pre-bussing and guest requests throughout the dining experience.</li><li>Support table touches such as refilling water, resetting place settings between courses, and removing unnecessary items.</li></ul><p><strong>Table Maintenance &amp; Bussing</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Pre-bus and clear tables efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and polished dining room.</li><li>Reset tables quickly and accurately according to The Boca Raton service standards.</li><li>Remove soiled dishes, glassware, and utensils and transport them safely to the dishwashing area.</li><li>Wipe down tables, chairs, booths, and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness and presentation.</li></ul><p><strong>Dining Room &amp; Station Readiness</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service stations, including side stands, expo areas, and server alleys.</li><li>Stock and replenish silverware, linens, glassware, plates, and condiments throughout service.</li><li>Refill and maintain condiments and service items to ensure readiness at all times.</li></ul><p><strong>Guest Experience &amp; Team Support</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist with greeting guests and seating support as needed.</li><li>Respond promptly to spills, guest needs, and service recovery situations.</li><li>Maintain composure and professionalism during high-volume and peak service periods.</li><li>Complete all assigned opening, running, and closing side work.</li><li>Attend required meetings and training.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall service excellence.</li></ul><p><strong>Internal Relationships</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Reports to the General Manager and work closely with Servers, Hosts, Culinary, and Stewarding teams.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>External Relationships</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Regular interaction with guests and members</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Basic knowledge of table settings, food service flow, and dining room etiquette.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively in English to understand guest needs and follow service direction.</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend written English, including safety and sanitation notices.</li><li>Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 50 lbs. in a fast-paced dining environment.</li><li>Ability to push or move carts weighing up to 200 lbs.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Grade school education is preferred.</li><li>Minimum six (6) months of experience as a Server Assistant, Busser, or Food Runner in a resort or restaurant environment preferred.</li><li>You must obtain and maintain all required local or state certifications (e.g., alcohol service permits).</li><li>CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
