The ideal candidate is student-centered, data-driven, and committed to fostering academic growth, social-emotional development, and positive school culture in an urban educational setting.</p><p><strong><u>Duties/ Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Deliver individualized and small-group instruction in an Autistic Support classroom</li><li>Modify and adapt general education curriculum to meet diverse learning needs</li><li>Implement research-based instructional strategies and interventions, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and social skills curricula</li><li>Develop, implement, and monitor effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable outcomes</li><li>Maintain ongoing communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress</li><li>Collect, analyze, and use data to monitor student growth and adjust instruction accordingly</li><li>Participate actively in Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings and facilitate annual IEP meetings</li><li>Maintain accurate and compliant special education documentation and student records</li></ul><p><strong><u>Requirement/Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required; Master&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>Valid <strong>Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification</strong>&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder</li><li>Experience teaching in an urban classroom setting strongly preferred</li><li>Demonstrated success using data-driven instruction to achieve student growth</li><li>Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills</li></ul><p><strong>The Universal Family of Charter Schools</strong> adheres to the policy of providing equal employment opportunities to all job applicants and employees regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, disability, or sexual orientation.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
