The IES program provides employment support for job seekers by addressing each client's unique challenges, offering tailored support and a pathway to sustainable employment. Reporting to the Workforce Engagement Supervisor, this role will develop and nurture employer relationships that are aligned with the skills and needs of a range of clients.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This position is contract part-time position (3 days/week, 7.5 hours/day), until March 2027 and may require some evening and weekend work as needed.</span><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively develop new employer relationships in response to the employment goals, skills, and abilities of individual participants and job start KPIs</li>\n<li>Meet quantitative targets as part of YSM's performance management process</li>\n<li>Act as an intermediary between Employment Counsellors, participants, and employers throughout job trials and brokered incentive agreements, assisting with problem-solving, conflict resolution, and execution of training plans</li>\n<li>Educate employers on the barriers faced, and the unique potential of clients from YSM population focus groups, including People with Disabilities</li>\n<li>Negotiate with employers on any accommodation supports required by participants</li>\n<li>Develop employer personas that detail variables such as labor market needs, training requirements, and range/characteristics of available positions, and articulate employer preferences</li>\n<li>Prioritize recruitment of employers offering high-quality jobs. Conduct initial and recurring employer site inspections to ensure participants are introduced to safe, positive work environments.</li>\n<li>Support training cohorts with employers in high-demand fields</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-secondary diploma/degree in marketing, business development, career development, or a related field.</li>\n<li>1+ years of experience in employer engagement, recruitment, or workforce development.</li>\n<li>Proven track record working with diverse client populations and building employer partnerships.</li>\n<li>Strong communication, judgment, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.</li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.</li>\n<li>Experience with data analysis and reporting.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for travel within the GTA (Asset).</li>\n<li>Knowledge of local labour markets and workforce needs (preferred).</li>\n<li>Multilingual capabilities (e.g., French, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic) are an asset.</li>\n<li>First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation:</span><span> </span>YSM will pay a starting salary <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$28,422.82</span> (<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">prorated for part-time, 3 days/week)</span> for this part-time role, <span>combined with a comprehensive suite of benefits and perks.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Deadline for Application</span>: Until Filled </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em> </em></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">While we appreciate all responses, only candidates under consideration will be contacted.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">YSM welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
