Do you excel in <strong>fast-paced, phone-based environments</strong> where empathy and performance go hand-in-hand?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At <strong>Embark Behavioral Health</strong>, we’re seeking a <strong>Weekend Admissions Coordinator</strong> who can combine <strong>clinical sensitivity with strong sales and conversion skills</strong> to help families take their first step toward life-changing care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is more than a call center role, it's a <strong>mission-driven admissions and sales position</strong> where your ability to connect, guide, and influence directly impacts access to mental health treatment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage inbound calls and digital inquiries from families seeking <strong>mental and behavioral health treatment</strong>, serving as the first point of contact</li>\n <li>Utilize <strong>consultative sales techniques</strong> to guide families toward appropriate levels of care and confidently move conversations toward admission decisions</li>\n <li>Conduct structured <strong>phone screenings </strong>evaluating client needs, urgency, and clinical appropriateness</li>\n <li>Identify potential <strong>barriers to admission</strong> and proactively offer solutions to support timely access to care</li>\n <li>Provide <strong>trauma-informed, empathetic communication</strong> while building rapport with parents, guardians, and referral sources in high-stress situations</li>\n <li>Serve as a <strong>trusted guide</strong> for families navigating vulnerable, time-sensitive decisions related to treatment</li>\n <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with <strong>clinical, operations, and utilization review teams</strong> to ensure seamless admissions and continuity of care</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate documentation in <strong>Salesforce (or similar CRM)</strong>, track pipeline activity, and consistently meet <strong>conversion, quality, and responsiveness metrics</strong> while ensuring HIPAA compliance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2–3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Behavioral health / mental health</strong></li>\n   <li><strong>Healthcare admissions or intake</strong></li>\n   <li><strong>High-volume call center or inside sales</strong></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Proven ability in <strong>consultative sales, intake coordination, or conversion-focused roles</strong></li>\n <li>Strong <strong>verbal communication, active listening, and objection-handling skills</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to remain <strong>calm and effective in emotionally sensitive or urgent situations</strong></li>\n <li>Experience using <strong>CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Background in <strong>behavioral health treatment settings or substance use recovery</strong></li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>insurance verification, intake coordination, or utilization review support</strong></li>\n <li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, psychology, or related field</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Embark is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
