The job entails working in all aspects of K&amp;N Research &amp; Development and requires a thorough understanding industrial filtration needs for HVAC or similar devices.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manages development of all industrial air filtration products from conception through production.</li><li>Works closely with the Director of HVAC/Industrial Filtration to align company goals that support the sales &amp; marketing teams as well as other cross-functional departments.</li><li>Must have thorough understanding of HVAC units, how they operate and filtration requirements.</li><li>Thoroughly understands industrial filtration needs for data centers, manufacturing facilities, industrial and commercial settings, retail stores, etc.</li><li>Works closely with the K&amp;N Manufacturing team to ensure fit, form, function and quality requirements are met.</li><li>Works closely with K&amp;N Procurement to ensure purchased components meet quality standards along with timelines.</li><li>Provides essential data, timelines and business cases for product needs for industrial filtration products, along with possible accessories to complement.</li><li>Travel (5-10%) to support sales and marketing needs within the data center, commercial and retail spaces.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Experience, Skills &amp; Education:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must have thorough knowledge of HVAC and industrial filtration markets.</li><li>Must have a background in HVAC &amp; air handling engineering, testing and manufacturing.</li><li>5+ years in similar role.</li><li>Knowledge of AutoCAD software, preferably&nbsp;SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Windows software.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Additional Qualities Necessary:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be well organized and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple duties and projects.</li><li>Must possess excellent verbal and written communication.</li><li>Consistently demonstrate a positive company image to K&amp;N customers.</li></ul></div>\n",
