This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the medication administration process, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.</li><li>Train and mentor staff on medication management best practices and procedures.</li><li>Ensure the Med Techs and Care Partners are taking breaks as assigned</li><li>Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director to develop and implement patient individualized care plans.</li><li>Monitor residents' responses to medications and report any adverse effects or concerns to the HWD.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care activities.</li><li>Order and receive medication.</li><li>Conduct regular audits of medication storage and handling practices to ensure compliance with standards.</li><li>&nbsp;Regularly review the resident’s medication administration record, centrally-stored record, and pharmacy transaction record, and report any errors to the HWD.</li><li>Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding medication management and health conditions.</li><li>Assist the Resident Care Coordinator with scheduling as needed.</li><li>Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to the residents by providing continuous engagement and companionship.</li><li>According to the individual care plan, assist the residents with the daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
