Make an Impact</strong></p>\n<p>Join Nashville CARES, Middle Tennessee’s leading organization dedicated to ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic through prevention, education, compassionate care, and support services. We are seeking a dependable and community-minded Mobile Medical Unit Driver to help bring healthcare directly to underserved communities across the region.</p>\n<p>This is more than a driving position, it’s an opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team improving lives every day.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Safely operate and transport the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to community outreach sites and healthcare events</li>\n <li>Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain travel/mileage logs</li>\n <li>Support setup and breakdown of mobile clinic operations, outreach events, testing services, and vaccination events</li>\n <li>Assist patients entering and exiting the mobile unit and support clinical flow when needed</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the mobile medical vehicle</li>\n <li>Monitor inventory, restocking needs, and maintenance reporting</li>\n <li>Ensure safety procedures are followed and respond appropriately during emergencies</li>\n <li>Participate in team meetings and organizational trainings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED <strong>required</strong></li>\n <li><strong>2–3+ years</strong> of commercial, bus, trailer, or large vehicle driving experience preferred</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s <strong>license</strong> with a clean driving record</li>\n <li>Comfortable driving large customized mobile units, trailers, Sprinter vans, and maneuvering in tight spaces</li>\n <li>Experience with vehicle upkeep and preventive maintenance</li>\n <li>Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends</li>\n <li><strong>Knowledge of HIPAA, infection control, OSHA standards, CPR, or biohazard safety is a plus</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements and Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs</li>\n <li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stair climbing</li>\n <li>Ability to drive during daytime and nighttime hours</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in a mobile healthcare environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Meaningful work supporting community health and HIV prevention</li>\n <li>Inclusive, supportive, and mission-driven culture</li>\n <li>Opportunities for professional growth and development</li>\n <li>Excellent benefits package, including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance</li>\n   <li>Short & Long-Term Disability Coverage</li>\n   <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n   <li>403(b) Retirement Plan</li>\n   <li>Generous Paid Time Off:\n    <ul>\n     <li>27 days in Year 1</li>\n     <li>Up to 37 days after Year 10</li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li>12 Paid Holidays</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Equal Opportunity Employer</em></strong><em>Nashville CARES is proud to foster an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued and respected.
