    "description": "<p>Position Title: Data Engineer (Senior)</p>\n<p>Location: Redstone Arsenal </p>\n<p>Position Type: Full-Time</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span><br>We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support complex data initiatives, including ETL development, large-scale data migrations, and high-performance data processing in a mission-driven environment. This role will work closely with engineering and analytics teams to design, build, and optimize data pipelines supporting critical systems.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows</li>\n<li>Lead and support data migration efforts across enterprise systems</li>\n<li>Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Apache Spark</li>\n<li>Work with relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL</li>\n<li>Write and maintain backend services and data integrations using Java</li>\n<li>Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across platforms</li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system modernization efforts</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot, optimize, and document data solutions in secure environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field</li>\n<li>Minimum of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">8 years of experience</span> in data engineering or related roles</li>\n<li>Strong experience with ETL processes and data migration</li>\n<li>Proficiency in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Java</span></li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Oracle</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PostgreSQL</span> databases</li>\n<li>Experience using <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Apache Spark</span> for large-scale data processing</li>\n<li>Active <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Top Secret security clearance</span> (required at time of hire)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting DoD or federal programs</li>\n<li>Familiarity with large, complex data environments and legacy system modernization</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>CULTURE REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self‐organized.
