This role focuses on proactive claims management with no travel required, a structured workday, and the opportunity to work with a supportive and experienced team.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Handle workers’ compensation claims from start to finish in accordance with <strong>NY laws</strong> and client-specific guidelines.</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage a varied caseload across multiple accounts and industries.</p></li>\n <li><p>Set and recommend reserves within authority levels.</p></li>\n <li><p>Review and process payments, settlements, and medical/legal bills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with attorneys, vendors, and case managers to move claims forward.</p></li>\n <li><p>Prepare timely reports on claim status, reserves, and payments.</p></li>\n <li><p>Represent CCMSI at hearings, mediations, and legal proceedings as needed (virtually).</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide outstanding service that meets our internal standards and exceeds client expectations.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h3><strong>What You Bring</strong></h3>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>5+ years of experience adjusting New York Workers’ Compensation claims.</p></li>\n <li><p>New York Adjuster’s License (must be active).</p></li>\n <li><p>In-depth knowledge of New York Workers’ Compensation law.</p></li>\n <li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong organization and communication skills.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience handling multi-jurisdictional workers’ comp claims.</p></li>\n <li><p>Familiarity with New Jersey workers’ compensation laws.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Why You’ll Love Working at CCMSI</strong></h3>\n<p>✅ <strong>Employee-Owned:</strong> Share in our success through our ESOP.✅ <strong>Time Off:</strong> 4 weeks of PTO in your first year + 10 paid holidays.✅ <strong>Comprehensive Benefits:</strong> Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Critical Illness, 401K, and more.✅ <strong>Growth Opportunities:</strong> We promote from within and support your career development.✅ <strong>Work-Life Balance:</strong> Manageable caseloads, flexible environment, no travel.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Ready to elevate your career with a company that values you?</strong>Apply today and be part of a team where your expertise makes an impact.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Compensation & Compliance</p>\n<p>The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.
