We are seeking -&nbsp;</span></h2><p><strong>MAIN DUTIES&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Supervises 10-18 manufacturing operators and support team members.</strong> <strong>Ensures the proper functioning of the production line in terms of quality and quantity.</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Continuously organizes and optimizes production in terms of Quality, Costs and Deadlines; to this end, participates in all Lean Manufacturing, Kanban initiatives to increase productivity and decrease scrap</li><li>Manages activity charts and monitors the performance of the production lines,</li><li>Assigns Operators based on their skills and versatility according to the production schedule while adhering to customer requirements</li><li>Manages the employees reporting to him or her (training needs assessment, evaluations, recruitment, absence management, etc.)</li><li>Ensures Product is made to defined quality standards; Organizes daily production line QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) meetings to respond to the needs identified and encourage continuous improvement of the team,</li><li>Participates in quality events by implementing the necessary verification measures and introducing the appropriate problem-solving method (8D),</li><li>Ensures verification during the manufacturing process according to the monitoring plan,</li><li>Ensures the application of the identification and traceability measures during manufacturing,</li><li>Handles machine breakdowns by ensuring interventions by technicians as quickly as possible (technicians assigned to the line or maintenance technicians) and reassigning the personnel or if necessary,</li><li>Makes sure that all breakdowns are tracked on the appropriate documents/systems,</li><li>Guarantees the application of workstation cleanliness and 5S Standards &amp; Environmental rules</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS PROFILE&nbsp;</strong></p><p><em><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></em></p><p>High school diploma combined with 3 to 5 years of supervisory / managerial experience to include responsibility for hiring, training/coaching, safety, &amp; performance management and appraisals of 10-18 subordinate employees in an industrial or manufacturing setting. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Bi-lingual Spanish speaking a plus.</p><p><em><strong>Professional Abilities and Skills:&nbsp;</strong></em></p><p>Ability to supervise, strong interpersonal and communication skills, spirit of leadership, ability to suggest new ideas;</p><p>Able to take initiative and handle unexpected situations, analytical and able to summarize data;</p><p>Able to mobilize the appropriate human resources based on production schedules and employee skills levels</p><p><strong><em>Technical Knowledge:</em></strong></p><p>Mechanical Aptitude, Familiarity with Manufacturing / Assembly Equipment</p><p>Process capability, SPC, &amp; computer tools such as Excel and SAP are a plus</p><p>Prior Forklift License, LOTO Familiarity and First Aid Certification are a plus</p><p><strong>CONFIDENTIALITY:</strong></p><p>Has a duty to preserve secrecy and confidentiality with respect to all the systems and data to which he can be granted access, within the normal framework of his function.</p><p>She/he is constantly interacting with personnel on administrative matters within her/his scope of expertise.
