Description
As a Customer Experience Associate Supervisor at the Exchange, you will lead a team dedicated to providing exceptional service to our military members, retirees, veterans, and their families. You will oversee daily store operations, ensure compliance with military uniform regulations and Exchange policies, and foster a positive shopping experience for every customer.
As part of an award-winning organization, you will contribute to our mission of serving those who serve while supporting the professional growth and development of your team. The Exchange returns two-thirds of its earnings annually to support military communities, making every role a meaningful opportunity to give back.
We offer flexible scheduling, comprehensive medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, shift differential and holiday pay, a traditional pension, and a 401(k) plan for qualifying associates. Employees also enjoy access to military installations and facilities and hold status as Department of Defense employees.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and support Customer Experience Associates in the Military Clothing Store. Lead daily operations, ensuring efficient customer service, merchandising, and sales floor coverage. Provide guidance and training on military uniform regulations, grooming standards, insignia placement, and authorized uniform items. Ensure accurate processing of sales transactions, returns, exchanges, and special orders. Monitor inventory levels, merchandise presentation, and stock replenishment to maintain a well-organized sales floor. Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively while promoting a positive shopping experience. Ensure compliance with Exchange policies, cash handling procedures, and loss prevention standards. Assist with scheduling, performance coaching, and employee development. Coordinate with installation units and customers regarding uniform requirements and availability of military clothing items. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
