    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">We are seeking an Animal Nursing Assistant to join our Bolton team, on a 6month contract.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">As an Animal Nursing Assistant you'll play a crucial role in supporting first opinion, referral and  emergency cases. You'll assist the veterinary team by providing essential hands-on care, feeding, walking and caring for the inpatients. Support the nursing team with tasks such as laboratory work, and prepping of theatre areas. You will also be required to carry out reception work, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the clinic.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">This role offers the right candidate a diverse range of responsibilities across all areas of our hospital, ensuring that no two shifts are the same. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of many pets during each shift.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Bolton is one of our 24hr sites, which consists of 8 consulting rooms, 3 theatres, x-ray dental suite as well as a CT scanner. </span></p>\n<p><span>Ensuring the utmost comfort for our patients, we've have separate dog and cat wards, including a specialised ICU ward for intensive nursing care. Our commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by our varied caseload, encompassing both medical and surgical cases, with weekly orthopaedic procedures.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #374151\">At Animal Trust, you'll find a supportive and inclusive culture that values each individual's contribution. While this position does not guarantee progression into formal veterinary nurse training, strong performance in the role may lead to future development opportunities, including consideration for nurse training pathways, subject to business needs and available vacancies.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Candidates interested in future veterinary nurse training would ideally have:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent</li>\n<li>GCSE Science (or equivalent), ideally Biology</li>\n<li>A demonstrable interest in pursuing a career in veterinary nursing</li>\n<li>A willingness to learn and develop within a clinical environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About you</span>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Compassionate and caring, with a passion for animal welfare</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Ability to prioritise tasks to manage workload according to the needs of the service</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Strong communication skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Previous experience in a veterinary environment is advantageous but not necessary</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #374151\">Job Particulars:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #374151; font-size: 15px\">Shift times: 08:00- 18:30hrs (30 minute unpaid lunch)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #374151; font-size: 15px\">Average hours of 35hrs a week</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #374151\">Rota: 5 on, 5 off </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #374151\">Salary: £12.71PH</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #374151; font-size: 15px\">Holidays: 5.6 weeks (including Bank Holidays)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(55, 65, 81); font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">This is a fixed Term contract for 6months </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>",
