We are traide AI – a VC-backed, B2B deep tech startup based in Berlin, using AI to solve one of the most overlooked yet critical challenges in international trade: customs compliance. Our software automates product classification, reduces regulatory errors, and helps customers save up to 83% of their time. Your tasks As a Full-Cycle Account Executive at traide AI, you're not just selling software – you're helping companies fix a problem that has cost them time, money, and sleepless nights for decades. You'll own the entire sales cycle, from first touchpoint to closed deal, with customers ranging from fast-growing SMEs to global enterprises. Your focus is primarily on our inbound funnel, complemented by targeted outbound (currently around one day per week). You'll work closely with our CEO, Marketing, and Customer Success to shape how we go to market. Outbound prospecting: ICP research, cold calls, cold emails, sales sequences, and LinkedIn social selling – complementing our strong inbound funnel Lead qualification & discovery: Run discovery calls and structured needs analyses using our CUSTOM framework Product demos: Deliver use-case-based product presentations and a value-driven pitch that resonates with the customer's reality Negotiation: Build proposals, run pricing negotiations, manage multiple stakeholders, and present ROI calculations and business cases Closing: Bring deals across the line and ensure a smooth handover to Customer Success Pipeline management: Own your forecast, keep CRM hygiene tight, and run deal reviews with the team Feed insights back into the company: Your conversations directly shape our product roadmap, messaging, and ICP Help us build the sales playbook as we scale: what works, what doesn't, and how we win Why this role is unique Real product, real demand: Customs compliance is a non-negotiable for any company importing or exporting goods – you're selling into a market that has to solve this problem Inbound-led, outbound-supported: You spend most of your time talking to prospects who already raised their hand – outbound complements rather than dominates your week Modern sales stack: You'll work with a tool stack built for efficient, AI-augmented selling (see below) Short feedback loops: You'll work directly with our CEO and have a real seat at the table when it comes to GTM strategy Our sales stack CRM & outbound: HubSpot, Clay, Surfe, LinkedIn Sales Navigator Calls & demos: Microsoft Teams, Google Meet Meeting intelligence: Fathom, Granola Business cases & decks: Gamma Digital sales room: ValueCase AI for sales: Claude Who we’re looking for You don't need to come in knowing everything about customs or AI – we'll teach you that. What really matters is your hunger to win deals, your ability to listen carefully, and your drive to build something meaningful with us. Fluency in German (C1 or native) and strong English skills (B2 or better) 1–4 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales – whether as an SDR ready for the next step or as an AE with first closing experience Track record of hitting (or beating) targets in a fast-paced environment Comfortable across the full cycle: you can run a discovery call, deliver a sharp demo, build a business case, and close a deal Strong communication skills: you can simplify complex topics and build trust with both operational teams and C-level decision-makers Curious and consultative mindset: you ask great questions and genuinely want to understand the customer's problem before pitching a solution AI-first mindset: you actively use AI tools to work smarter – in research, prep, follow-ups, and beyond Comfort with ambiguity: we're a startup – processes are still being built, and you'll help shape them Genuine interest in SaaS, AI, and how technology can transform traditional industries Ideally you've worked with tools like HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Clay, or similar – but that is not a must-have Why us?
