Damar is looking for a talented and motivated Community-Based Caseworker to join our team. The Community-Based Caseworker utilizes evidenced based practices to provide goal-oriented services and safety assessments to each case. This individual will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including supervisor, child/family therapist, child welfare specialists, schools, employers, and DCS/Probation staff to assist each family in meeting their treatment goals. The Caseworker is central to our Home-Based Team, working directly with children, adults and families to address each family’s individual needs including but not limited to, concrete needs, connection to community resources, employment and housing. This individual also works with court-involved youth and families to address needs in order for the children to remain safely in their caregivers’ home.
