As a Technical Architect (TA) in our SAP Commerce Cloud practice, you’ll not only play a lead role in projects for key clients—you’ll help to build out and grow the team and function.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who you are</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A team member working closely with cross-functional teams and clients’ technical teams to develop and implement features and enhancements that enable end-to-end integration of our clients’ ecommerce offerings</li>\n<li>A technical thought leader, an SAP Commerce Cloud authority within the organization</li>\n<li>A team player with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Leader in a development team that takes the initiative to mentor our talented, hungry junior Developers</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll do</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and document detailed technical specifications for assigned SAP Commerce Cloud components and integrations</li>\n<li>Lead development team scrum sessions</li>\n<li>Conduct code reviews for the development team</li>\n<li>Work with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and other Developers to estimate the level of effort required to implement assigned work packages</li>\n<li>Develop, customize, and debug assigned SAP Commerce Cloud components and extensions, conforming to SAP Commerce Cloud best practices and Smith development standards, using Java, Spring, and related technologies</li>\n<li>Create data models necessary for SAP Commerce Cloud projects, including products, catalogs, storefronts, customers, orders, and more</li>\n<li>Manipulate raw product, inventory, or customer data (database, XML, XLS, CSV, etc.) into formats suitable for loading into SAP Commerce Cloud, and configure one-time or recurring data imports</li>\n<li>Provide status reports and escalate issues as appropriate to the Project Manager and Solution Architect</li>\n<li>Deliver high-quality SAP Commerce Cloud components and integrations on time</li>\n<li>Lead, coach, and mentor team members</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we look for</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years’ experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring</li>\n<li>3+ years’ Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud experience</li>\n<li>4+ years’ experience developing web-based applications with SOAP and/or REST</li>\n<li>Completed at least one Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud implementation end to end</li>\n<li>Acted as the platform architect/development lead of at least one Hybris implementation</li>\n<li>SAP Commerce Cloud certified would be a plus</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of JSP or JSTL, Tomcat, Hibernate</li>\n<li>Demonstrated exceptional client service orientation</li>\n<li>Experience working with offshore teams is a plus.</li>\n<li>The desire and skills to mentor junior colleagues and interact closely and constructively with other senior technical resources</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n\n\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Smith | The Performance Commerce People</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Smith is the performance commerce agency, enabling over 500,000 transactions around the globe each day.
