We strongly encourage veterans and transitioning military service members to apply. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex systems, hands‑on mechanical and electrical work, travel, and helping customers solve problems, this is a great long‑term career path. Full training on laser machinery is provided, and technicians are home on weekends.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair laser machining equipment</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control‑system issues</li>\n <li>Perform repairs, rebuilds, adjustments, and system testing</li>\n <li>Support customers by phone when remote troubleshooting is possible</li>\n <li>Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation</li>\n <li>Document service work, findings, and resolutions</li>\n <li>Provide professional, clear communication with customers</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven technical aptitude, ideally 4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical troubleshooting (Military experience/training is highly valued and transferable).</li>\n <li>Proficiency using hand tools and precision measurement equipment (e.g., voltmeters, multimeters, gages).</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to write technical reports and provide professional customer support.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain a rigorous travel schedule (typically Monday–Friday).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred (Not Required):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Military technical training/certifications or an Associate/Technical degree.</li>\n <li>Experience using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, or similar tools</li>\n <li>Background repairing mechanical components (ball screws, bearings, gearing, way systems)</li>\n <li>Experience with precision measurement tools (indicators, micrometers, gage blocks, optical comparator; laser interferometer or ball bar is a plus)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequent bending, standing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting</li>\n <li>Regular use of hands, tools, and computer equipment</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 20–50 lbs as needed</li>\n <li>Good visual and color acuity</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What makes this opportunity stand out</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive hourly pay + overtime</li>\n <li>Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k)</li>\n <li>Paid training on high‑tech laser machinery</li>\n <li>Career growth in a stable, in‑demand industry</li>\n <li>Travel during the week, home on weekends</li>\n <li>All travel expenses covered</li>\n</ul>",
