Hunting YMCA.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p><p>The Facilities Specialist keeps the facility clean, attractive, and ready to use. Must be able to handle power washing equipment, floor scrubbing equipment and other larger items. Position will be responsible for deeper cleaning of showers, steam rooms, etc. <strong>Must be available for evening shifts, 4 - 9 PM.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Sweep floors, vacuum</li><li>Empty trash and waste to disposal areas</li><li>Clean rugs and carpets</li><li>Dust furniture and equipment</li><li>Wash windows, door panels, and sills</li><li>Replenish bathroom and locker room supplies</li><li>Clean locker rooms</li><li>Clean, drain, and disinfect whirlpools</li><li>Clean, fold, and distribute towels</li><li>Set up tables and chairs</li><li>Maintain all areas in clean, presentable fashion</li><li>Clean sidewalks and parking lots</li><li>Shovel and salt sidewalks and walkways</li><li>Repair Interior/exterior building and exercise equipment, paint walls, replace lighting, and perform preventative maintenance as directed</li><li>Stock and organize supplies</li></ul><p>Performs any other functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>COMPENSATION</strong></p><p>$14.35 - $17.93 ; Part Time, Non-Exempt (up to 25hrs/week)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Free YMCA Individual Membership</strong> – Enjoy full access to facilities.</li><li><strong>Retirement Savings</strong> – 12% employer retirement contribution, no match requirement (upon eligibility) and a 403(b) savings plan.</li><li><strong>Paid Sick Time</strong> – Earn paid sick leave so you can focus on feeling your best when it matters most.</li><li><strong>Professional Growth</strong> – Access to ongoing training, development programs, and career advancement opportunities.</li><li><strong>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</strong> – Free, confidential resources and counseling for you and your family.</li></ul>",
