    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a <strong>Sterile Processing Technician Lead </strong>for their Sterile Processing Unit department responsible for supporting Sterile Processing operations and its services to other departments in the hospital. Uses sterile processing techniques to deliver clean/sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies to SPD customers.</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS:<br>All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum: Certification in Sterile Processing or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).</p><p><br><strong>&nbsp;Technical Requirements:</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum: Advanced knowledge with respect to the care and handling of instrumentation as well as familiarity with sterilization processes.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Preferred: computer skills.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Years of Related Work Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Minimum: Two years instrument sterilization experience&nbsp;</p><p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Preferred: Two years or greater of sterile processing experience</p>",
