By providing the majority of mechanical requirements in-house, including engineering, estimating, 3D-design/BIM coordination, sheet metal, HVAC, refrigeration, and controls, we are a “ONE-STOP” shop for any project.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role:</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mechanical Solutions, Inc.</span> is looking to hire a payroll specialist for an opening on our accounting team.  The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring prompt and accurate processing of payroll for both union and non-union employees and related items on a weekly basis for each of our companies.  This position will also be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax and union reports.  We are seeking a person of high integrity for this position, as it will involve handling sensitive material and require a high degree of confidentiality. This role requires specialized knowledge and meticulous attention to detail. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></span><span>  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing timesheets and entering weekly union and non-union payroll for all companies, managing data collection, calculations of wages, overtime, and various deductions (taxes, garnishments, child support, union dues, and benefits)</li>\n<li>Entering Certified Payroll</li>\n<li>Respond to all payroll inquiries</li>\n<li>Prepare monthly union reports for all companies</li>\n<li>Prepare monthly and quarterly tax reports for all companies</li>\n<li>Prepare annual tax reports and w-2s for all companies</li>\n<li>Basic filing and data entry as required</li>\n<li>Create/Distribute various reports for management</li>\n<li>401(k) administration</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2-5 years of payroll experience required.</li>\n<li>Construction and union payroll required.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of payroll principles, federal and state tax laws, and general accounting fundamentals.</li>\n<li>Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred.</li>\n<li>Certified Payroll Entry.</li>\n<li>Ability to handle confidential information.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., Sage Software, ComputerEase a plus).</li>\n<li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.</li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, with weekly deadlines.</li>\n<li>Must be very detail-oriented and able to organize and prioritize time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why People Choose Mechanical Solutions</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mechanical Solutions, Inc.</span> is committed to creating an inclusive and safe work environment where people feel connected, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
