Description
Position Summary
Acuren and its affiliate entities are a leading provider of wind turbine rotor blade inspection, repair, and other services in North America. Combined with the use of rope access technology and inspection expertise, we provide a comprehensive inspection and repair solution for the wind industry.
Acuren Wind Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Site Superintendent to lead wind turbine maintenance operations at site. This a full time, temporary role responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing crews, and ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project and client expectations. This is a key leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced field environment and has a strong background in renewable energy operations.
Position Details:
Rotation/Shift: 6 weeks on and 1 week off, with the week off being optional. During the 6-week period, the standard schedule will typically be 5 days on, 2 days off, at 12 hours per day. This would vary depending on project and client requirements
Start Date: Approximately May 25, 2026.
Duration: 3 months; Duration may vary depending on project and client requirements
Rate: $50.00 - $60.00 (Payrates are based upon level of experience and Tech Level/Certifications)
Location & Travel: Quebec, Flights and accommodations provided
Please note a pre-employment D&A will be required for this position
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all onsite wind turbine maintenance activities
Supervise and support technicians, ensuring work is completed safely and to high-quality standards
Act as the primary point of contact between site personnel, clients, and internal stakeholders
Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, outages, and project timelines
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Conduct site inspections, safety meetings, and incident investigations as required
Monitor productivity, performance, and project progress, implementing improvements where needed
Coordinate logistics including tooling, and material requirements in collaboration with the Inventory Coordinator
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and site records
Requirements
Proven experience in a Site Manager, Supervisor, or leadership role within wind energy, construction, or a related industrial field
Strong understanding of wind turbine maintenance operations and safety standards
Experience managing crews in a field-based or remote environment
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic work environment
GWO Certifications BST, BTT and ART
Bilingual in English and French (strongly preferred)
Technical background as a Wind Technician or related trade
Proficient with reporting tools, Microsoft Office, and operational systems
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel or work on rotation as required
