    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a <strong>On call- Nephrologist </strong>at <strong>Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Provide intermittent, on-call nephrology services to act as a <strong>backup</strong> and provide coverage <strong>only</strong> during periods when the active-duty government Nephrologist is unavailable.   Providers are not required to be on-site at the Medical Center unless specifically called in. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Minimum Weekend Coverage:</strong> The schedule will require the Contractor's Group to be on call for <strong>at a minimum, two (2) full weekends per month.</strong> A full weekend is defined as the 48-hour period from <u>Saturday at 0700 to Monday at 0700.</u></li>\n <li><strong>Projected Workload:</strong> The total projected workload is <u>approximately 182 coverage days annually.</u></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>On-Call Responsibilities and Response Times</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Remote Consultation:</strong> During a scheduled on-call period, the designated physician must be available to respond to telephonic or other virtual consultations from MTF staff. These calls typically last 10–15 minutes</li>\n <li><strong>In-Person Activation:</strong> If in-person services are deemed medically necessary, the on-call physician must be able to report to and arrive at the MTF <strong>within 60 minutes</strong> of being requested to do so.</li>\n <li><strong>Continuity of Care:</strong> Once activated for an in-person consultation, the contract physician is responsible for the patient's daily reassessment and reevaluation until care is appropriately concluded. This conclusion is defined as one of the following: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>The patient is discharged.</li>\n  <li>The case is officially signed off by the contract physician.</li>\n  <li>Care is formally transferred back to the government’s primary nephrologist.</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> Job Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada. </li>\n <li><p>Candidates must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted Medical License to practice medicine in the state of Nevada.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must have been employed in the practice of Nephrology or in an accredited training program for 24 of the last 36 month.
