    "description": "<p><strong>Camp Season - Summer 2026</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"color:#c0392b;\"><strong>Job Summary</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Under the direction of the Camp Maintenance Supervisor, assist in the maintenance and repair of the camp&rsquo;s buildings, grounds, equipment, and other facilities consistent with the mission and established policies and procedures of the camp.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"color:#c0392b;\"><strong>Essential Functions</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Assists with camper luggage on opening and closing days.<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Maintains campgrounds by operating necessary ground care equipment, such as mowers, tractors, and chainsaws, safely and efficiently.<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Be aware and make necessary changes to hazards found on campgrounds.<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Performs janitorial and general maintenance duties in buildings and areas designed. (Sweep, scrub, wax floors, wash windows and screens, pressure wash, etc.).<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Assists with the set-up, cleaning, and resetting of meeting areas and rooms throughout the day as needed. &nbsp;<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Keeps personal living quarters neat, clean, and ready for inspection. &nbsp;<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Be available to participate and assist with camp programs and activities as directed by the Camp Director.<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Performs other duties as assigned.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"color:#c0392b;\"><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to meet attendance requirements.<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to observe children and youth and ensure their safety.<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Some physical requirements of the Camp Maintenance position include endurance, including climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.&nbsp;<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are required to manipulate maintenance equipment and perform maintenance activities.<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"color:#c0392b;\"><strong>Working Conditions</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and to work irregular hours, delivering a program at the facility available.<br />\r\n⦁&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Operate with daily exposure to the sun, heat, and varying environmental conditions.</p>\r\n",
