The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security within a healthcare or similarly regulated domain.<br><br>This is a mission-critical role at the intersection of technology, compliance, and patient impact.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based / serverless infrastructure (AWS/GCP/AZURE) for scalable deployment of SaMD solutions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, high-quality delivery of Newel Health’s digital therapeutics and backend services.</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure continuous integration aligns with regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, GDPR, HIPAA).</span></li>\n<li><span>Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using Terraform or similar tools.</span></li>\n<li><span>Configure infrastructure policies and controls (e.g. network, access control, backup) promoting confidentiality, integrity, availability of information managed in transit and at rest</span></li>\n<li><span>Monitor system performance, security, and availability, with an emphasis on patient safety, data protection, and uptime.</span></li>\n<li><span>Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution for production infrastructure issues.</span></li>\n<li><span>Support audit readiness and documentation for MDR/CE, DiGA, and FDA-compliant deployments.</span></li>\n<li><span>Integrate DevSecOps tools and workflows to proactively identify and mitigate risks.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or site reliability engineering (SRE), ideally in health tech or a regulated environment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Serverless.</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch).</span></li>\n<li><span>Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience with security hardening and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.).</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and microservice architecture.</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of healthcare data standards and privacy regulations is a strong plus (FHIR, HL7).</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with development in compliance with IEC 62304 is a plus.</span></li>\n<li><span>Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Why Join Newel Health</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Shape the next generation of digital health solutions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Work in a certified SaMD environment at the forefront of behavioral science and AI.</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with leading partners in Pharma, MedTech, and academic research.</span></li>\n<li><span>Enjoy a remote-first culture, supported by cross-disciplinary teams passionate about patient outcomes.</span></li>\n<li><span>Be part of an organization building scalable, evidence-based impact in chronic care management.</span></li>\n</ul>",
