We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities and Qual:</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Underground Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, Underground Mobile Maintenance Technician, is responsible for the following:</p><ul><li>Works as a team member.</li><li>Works effectively with other crews and departments.</li><li>Employee consistently follows all safety and company policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintains the ability to follow directions &amp; to complete quality work.</li><li>Employee maintains a high level of productivity&nbsp;and demonstrates ability to learn.</li><li>Offers constructive solutions to problems and issues.</li><li>Shop Equipment, Tools, &amp; Skills - Must be able to read, comprehend, interpret blueprints &amp; instruction manuals.</li><li>Hydraulic Systems - Must be able to troubleshoot and repair basic hydraulic systems, Identify &amp; explain component functions on a hydraulic schematic.</li><li>The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>• Three years of light/ heavy mechanical experience preferred.</li><li>• One year of mining (surface or underground) experience preferred.</li><li>• Some mechanical aptitude required.</li><li>• Strong work ethic and good attendance are required.</li><li>• Ability to use a computer for parts and work order tracking as well as send/receive emails required.</li><li>• Commitment to working safely and to standards required.</li><li>• Basic computer skills preferred.
