As an<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Early Learning Coach</span>, you’ll play a vital role in supporting child care providers to enhance their programs, meet quality standards, and create nurturing environments where children can thrive.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In this role, you’ll p<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">rovide hands-on coaching, technical assistance, and valuable resources</span> to child care providers, both in centers and family home settings. Through the<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Early Achievers</span> program, you’ll connect families to high-quality child care and ensure that providers have the tools they need to succeed.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guide licensed child care providers through the<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WA State Early Achievers system</span><span> </span>to improve program quality.</li>\n<li>Provide<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">culturally inclusive coaching and technical assistance</span><span> </span>in person, virtually, and via email.</li>\n<li>Help providers build capacity in areas like <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">early learning practices, program self-assessments, and technology use</span>.</li>\n<li>Use tools such as<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Practice-Based Coaching, CLASS,</span><span> </span>and<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ERS</span><span> </span>to assess and improve learning environments.</li>\n<li>Support providers in creating and maintaining<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs)</span><span> </span>aligned with state standards.</li>\n<li>Deliver <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">high-quality training and support</span> for professional learning communities.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with providers to<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> collect and use classroom data</span> for continuous improvement.</li>\n<li>Participate in<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">team meetings, training sessions, and webinars</span><span> </span>to ensure alignment with Early Achievers goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education/Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AAS in ECE required. Or AAs with a Professional Development Plan to obtain a BA.</span></li>\n<li>BA in ECE or related degree <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3-5 years </span>minimum demonstrated leadership experience in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Early Childhood Education</span> or related field, and working with young children in a group setting.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Plus:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Washington State Early Learning and Development Guidelines.</span></li>\n<li>Proven ability to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">effectively support and motivate</span> people toward the achievement of desired goals.</li>\n<li>Ability to provide <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">leadership, innovation, motivation, and constructive feedback</span> to Early Learning professionals.</li>\n<li>Comfort and a commitment to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">utilizing and supporting</span> the use of research-based assessments to guide the development of a quality improvement plan.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Washington State child care licensing</span> and the regulatory environment surrounding Family and Center-based Child Care.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">child care licensing program policies and early childhood education.</span></li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">rules and regulations</span> governing Early Achievers.</li>\n<li>Experience <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">coaching or training adults</span> and knowledge of adult learning principles.
