With an operational footprint spanning over 90 countries across four continents, and manufacturing sites in eight countries, we offer more than 2,000 medicines across various therapeutic areas worldwide.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Purpose:</span></span></p>\n<p>Oversee all accounting, tax, and financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reporting Line:</span></p>\n<p>Reports to: Director of Accounting / Consultant.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the general accounting, AP, AR, and GL functions.</li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).</li>\n<li>Manage statutory reporting and audits (external and internal).</li>\n<li>Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filings (corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax).</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Manage relationships with tax authorities and auditors.</span></li>\n<li>Lead balance sheet review and reconciliation processes.</li>\n<li>Implement and maintain internal controls and financial governance.</li>\n<li>Drive process improvements and system enhancements (ERP).</li>\n<li>Lead and develop the accounting &amp; tax team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA/ACCA highly preferred).</li>\n<li>10–15 years of experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.</li>\n<li>Strong experience in tax regulations (Egypt / regional).</li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting.</li>\n<li>Experience in manufacturing or pharma sector strongly preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Experience with ERP systems (SAP referred).</li>\n</ul>",
