Partial remote work option after orientation. &nbsp;This position will primarily be at the Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Be part of something remarkable</strong></p><p>Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!</p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Registered Nurse</strong> to:</p><ul><li>Join our world-class interdisciplinary team of providers, nurses, dietitians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other skilled team members to provide life-changing care for brain and nervous system disorders; allowing patients with neurological disorders to live the best life possible!</li><li>Contribute to a highly collaborative team and learning environment, where everyone’s voice is valued, staff wellbeing is a priority and critical thinking, and questions are encouraged.</li><li>Engage in collaboration, serving as the touchpoint for patients via MyChart, phone and in-person. &nbsp;Programs within the neurology clinic include: epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, MS, neuromuscular disorders, neuro-oncology, neuropsychology and stoke, and general neurology.&nbsp;</li><li>Serve as an educator for patients and their families regarding therapies, treatment plans and medications.</li><li>Assist with procedures such as muscle biopsies</li><li>.Assist with procedures such as lumbar punctures, muscle biopsies and botox injections.</li><li>Participate in research and clinical trials in partnership with providers and other team members, that can help advance care for all neurological patients.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Graduate of school of nursing Required</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Work Experience</strong></p><ul><li>6 months of RN experience Required</li><li>Relevant RN experience Preferred<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Licenses &amp; Certifications</strong></p><ul><li>Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required</li><li>CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required</li><li>Applicable clinical certification Preferred<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Our Commitment to Social Impact and Belonging</strong></p><p>UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
