    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Advance your career with our Personal Lines Casualty Team!</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Apply now to learn and grow with us.</strong></p>\n<p>The Casualty Claims Adjuster will investigate, manage and resolve Bodily Injury claims assigned directly with injured parties, as well as assist in providing service to policyholders.</p>\n<p><strong>All qualified applicants will reside within a 50-mile radius of the following offices, Lake Mary, Suwanee, Plano, and Chandler. </strong></p>\n<p>There may be several in-office days per month for the first few months following initial virtual training to support your learning and to build relationships with leaders and others in the department.  This position requires a minimum of two days in office per month as the standard beyond the training period, with occasional additional days for special meetings a few times a year.</p>\n<p>Training is a critical component to your success and that success starts with reliable attendance. One positive interaction with you can turn someone's day around.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Investigates and evaluates coverage, liability, damages, and settles Bodily Injury claims directly with injured parties, within prescribed authority levels.</li>\n <li>Pursues proactive contact with injured parties through various creative means to connect, listen, empathize and make early settlement offers whenever appropriate to resolve injury claims.</li>\n <li>Identifies potential suspicious claims and refers to SIU and identifies opportunities for third party subrogation.</li>\n <li>Communicates with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants in order to gather information regarding claims; refers tasks to auxiliary resources as necessary and advises as to proper course of action. Sends and responds to various written, telephone and SMS text inquiries to pursue resolution of the claim.</li>\n <li>Ensures adequacy of reserves.</li>\n <li>Accountable for security of financial processing of claims, as well as security information contained in claims files.</li>\n <li>Makes effective use of loss management tools and techniques to ensure accuracy in decision making.</li>\n <li>Keeps files updated with clear documentation for ease in understanding the status of investigations, evaluations and negotiations throughout the claim life cycle.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong written and oral communication skills required.</li>\n <li>Good interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills required.</li>\n <li>Growth mindset; adapts well to change including new standard work and new tools</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of legal liability, general insurance policy coverage and State Tort Law preferred.</li>\n <li>Liability experience or policy and claims knowledge preferred.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred. </li>\n <li>Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p><strong>Pay Philosophy:</strong> The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location.
