    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Food Services Driver is responsible for collecting, packaging, and delivering of goods to client and non-client locations. They share the responsibility of maintaining the warehouse inventory, cleaning, organizing, stocking, and receiving of goods. This role works closely with the Food Service Team to ensure integrity of all meals and items prepared for delivery.</p><p>This is a full-time (40 hours) position on a Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm schedule. This role is based out of our Atlantic Ave office in Rochester, but services a number of Hillside locations across the region.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Load, transport, and deliver merchandise/food to various Hillside locations using a company issued vehicle.</li><li>Load and unload items from vehicles.</li><li>Review orders before and after delivery to ensure they are complete, ensure charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.</li><li>Communicate customer needs and escalate issues to management following department protocol, and assist with problem solving.</li><li>Accurately receive, process, and store warehouse inventory, including hard goods, food and supplies.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe workplace in the warehouse and in delivery vehicles.</li><li>Transport vehicles to vendors for cleaning or maintenance.</li><li>Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.</li><li>Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and adhere to all record standards in accordance with regulations.</li><li>While this job description covers many aspects of the role, employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Special Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Unrestricted, valid NYS driver’s license for minimum of 1 year with a clean driving record and minimum insurance coverage that meets agency standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</strong></p><p>In addition to demonstrating the <i>Hillside Professional Competencies&nbsp;</i>of&nbsp;Communicates Effectively<i>,</i> Personal Excellence, Cultural Competence, Builds and Leverages Relationships and Optimizes Decision Making, the following occupational competencies must be demonstrated:</p><ul><li>Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li><li>Ability to operate warehouse vehicles safely and efficiently.</li><li>Skill in interacting professionally with clients and delivery recipients.</li><li>Ability to identify and resolve problems related to inventory discrepancies or vehicle issues.</li><li>Ability to accurately follow instructions and verify shipments against orders.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
