With a commitment to research-based practices and ongoing support, we strive to create a community of educators and tutors who are skilled, confident, and passionate about making a difference in their students&#39; lives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>LOCATION</strong></p><p>Brighton, MI</p><p><br></p><p><strong>DESCRIPTION</strong></p><p>Brainspring Learning Centers (<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-fr-linked=\"true\" href=\"//Brainspring.com\">Brainspring.com</a>), the leaders in Structured Literacy, is seeking motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic people who are passionate about making a difference, to tutor students of all ages and abilities.</p><p>Why Join the Brainspring Team?</p><p>Free Training</p><p>Competitive Pay</p><p>Flexible Scheduling; tutor as much or as little (4 hrs minimum) as you would like</p><p>Incentives for tutoring 8 hrs per week or more</p><p>Opportunities for Advancement</p><p>Brainspring Tutors can complete the Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist Certification practicum free of charge ($4,000 approx. value) while tutoring. Our Phonics First&reg; programs are accredited through both the IDA (International Dyslexia Association) under their Knowledge and Practice Standards for Teachers of Reading and through IMSLEC (International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council) at their Teaching Level and Instructor of Teaching Level. Up to 4 grad credits are available for purchase upon the successful completion of the certification practicum.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>&bull; Bachelor&#39;s degree or near completion of degree required (Education related preferred)</p><p>&bull; Available to tutor after school and/or on Saturday</p><p>&bull; Able to attend all 30 hours of professional development in Brainspring&#39;s nationally accredited reading curriculum, Phonics First&reg;. Based on the Orton-Gillingham methodology, Phonics First&reg; is an interactive, explicit, structured, sequential, cumulative approach to reading and spelling that produces results.
