    "description": "<p>Clearwater Construction is currently accepting resumes for a Mechanic. The primary purpose of this position is to perform mechanical repairs with minimal supervision to ensure proper performance and safety of company vehicles and construction equipment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li> Knowledge of diesel and gas engine maintenance and repair</li>\n<li>Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs independently</li>\n<li>Ability to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle and construction equipment repair</li>\n<li>Ability to lift heavy equipment and vehicle parts</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate mechanical problems in vehicles using diagnostic equipment.</li>\n<li>Help mechanics evaluate mechanical problems and inspect repairs completed.</li>\n<li>Rebuild, replace, or repair major vehicle and equipment components, assemblies, and systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, etc.</li>\n<li>Estimate time and materials required to perform repairs.</li>\n<li>Analyze engine performance and perform tune-ups as needed.</li>\n<li>Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventive care.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate, updated preventive maintenance records.</li>\n<li>Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.</li>\n<li>Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties.</li>\n<li>Ensure shop, equipment, and tools are in safe operating condition.</li>\n<li>Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>\n<li>At least five (5) years of experience in a shop environment.</li>\n<li>Must have a technical understanding with attention to detail</li>\n<li>Demonstrate dependability, thoroughness, and excellent verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>Class A CDL is a plus, but not required.</li>\n<li>Must have valid Driver’s License<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45); font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">No phone calls, please.</span> <br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CLEARWATER CONSTRUCTION, INC.
