    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an inpatient <strong>Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner </strong>working with military families at the<strong> Naval Medical Center San Diego </strong>in <strong>California.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Services shall be provided Sunday through Saturday, excluding Federal Holidays, between the hours of 0000 and 1159 hours. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5- or 11-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30-to-60-minute lunch break, respectively. In no instance will the HCW be required to provide services in excess of 80 hours per two-week period.</li>\n <li>Will work in San Diego area at one of sever potential locations (not in a rotation, but it might be at a Branch Clinic outside of the Balboa Hospital proper)</li>\n <li>Must be skilled in general inpatient psychiatry, including diagnostic evaluations, pharmacotherapy, and psychotherapy.</li>\n <li>Performs psychiatric intakes, evaluations, and prescribes medications. 5.1.19.1.3. Will serve as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary mental Behavioral Health.</li>\n <li>May be involved in medical student and psychiatry resident education.</li>\n <li>May provide clinical supervision to other health care professionals and trainees, such as psychology interns.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's degree in nursing.</li>\n <li>Possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Psychiatric- Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner in the last five (5) years.</li>\n <li>Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).</li>\n <li>Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) -Psychiatric- Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner (across lifespan), Board Certified (PMHNP-BC)</li>\n <li>Any balid state NP license acceptated </li>\n <li>Salary to be determined but likely in the range of $70-$95 hr.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>FMI Contact:</strong></p>\n<p>Joseph Day</p>\n<p>[email protected]</p>\n<p>314-744-4138</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Company Overview:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Spectrum, we utilize over thirty-five years of experience providing optimal solutions for federal agencies that are both innovative and cost-effective.
